Pricing & Support Options

At BarcAssist, pricing is based on the type of support, level of responsibility, and length of stay rather than a one-size-fits-all hourly model.

This allows us to provide safe, attentive, and sustainable care while remaining fully available to you or your family member.

All prices are exclusive of IVA (VAT). A 21% IVA is added to all services provided in Spain unless otherwise stated.

All services include a complimentary 20-minute video consultation to assess needs and coordinate care prior to booking.

  • From €55 + IVA

    For brief, clearly defined support needs that do not require an extended visit.

    • Examples may include:

      • Bed-to-wheelchair or wheelchair-to-bed transfers

      • Brief dressing or getting-settled assistance

      • Brief assistance with walking or mobility

      • Help entering or leaving a hotel, apartment, or venue

      • Other short, clearly defined support needs

    Brief Support Visits are intended for limited, predetermined assistance. Visits requiring ongoing personal care, appointments, accompaniment, errands, or more extensive support are booked under Scheduled Hourly Support.

    Subject to availability and generally limited to easily accessible locations within Barcelona. Please contact us to confirm availability for your location.

  • €90 for up to 2 hours + IVA

    €48/hour for additional time + IVA

    Designed for short, defined periods of support (2–5 hours):

    • Appointments & hospital visits

    • Errands & accompaniment

    • Assistance at home or hotel

    • Organization, coordination, and advocacy

    • Occasional or non-consecutive needs

    Best for task-based or limited support needs.

  • €350 + IVA (includes up to 4 hours total, including travel time within 100 km of Barcelona)

    €48/hour thereafter + IVA

    For time-sensitive situations requiring prompt support, where emergency services are not needed.

    Examples may include:

    • Last-minute caregiver cancellations

    • Same-day or next-day hospital accompaniment

    • Unexpected mobility or health-related concerns

    • Short-notice discharge support

    • Travel disruptions requiring immediate assistance

    • Urgent support for visiting family members

    • Situations where plans change unexpectedly

  • €420 per day* + IVA
    €48/hour for additional time + IVA

    For days when ongoing support is needed without overnight presence.

    Includes:

    • Continuous daytime assistance

    • Appointments, events, outings, and logistics

    • Meals, mobility, and organization

    • Flexible scheduling within the day

    Best for recovery days, travel days, family rest, events or full-day accompaniment.

  • €650 per day* + IVA
    €4,200 per week + IVA

    For clients who need consistent presence, reassurance, and on-call support during both day and night.

    Includes:

    • Daytime active support

    • Overnight on-call presence

    • Overnight stay in your home or hotel

    • Safety monitoring & reassurance

    • Light assistance as needed overnight

    • Full availability for urgent needs

    This service includes protected rest periods overnight and is not billed as 24 hours of active work.
    It reflects professional presence, responsibility, and availability throughout the entire stay.

    Best for, holidays, post-hospital recovery, travel support, or short-term live-in assistance.

  • €750–€900* per day + IVA
    €5,000–€6,000 per week + IVA

    For situations requiring frequent overnight assistance or higher oversight.

    Includes:

    • Frequent night interventions

    • Medication reminders and monitoring

    • Mobility & transfer assistance

    • Higher vigilance and reduced rest time

    • Medical coordination and advocacy

    Recommended for post-surgical recovery, fall risk, or complex care needs.

    • Weekly packages include up to 60 hours of active daytime support plus overnight on-call presence

    • Additional active hours can be added at €48/hour + IVA

    • Accommodation and meals are provided by the client for overnight stays

    • Travel outside Barcelona may incur additional costs (discussed in advance)

    • All services are confirmed in writing prior to booking for full transparency

  • Support for Residents in Spain

    For individuals who live in Spain and may qualify, I also collaborate as a volunteer with a non-profit organization that provides support services to English speaking residents. If this may be a better fit for your situation, I’m happy to forward your information for an assessment and help point you in the right direction.

    My private services listed above are independent of this program and are billed separately.
