Exploring Barcelona, Your Way:

Every city experience is flexible and designed around you. Some guests enjoy focusing on Barcelona’s landmarks, culture, and architecture, while others prefer to discover the city through food, markets, and local flavors. Outings usually last 3–4 hours, but the pace and schedule are always adjusted to your needs. Below are two examples of how a day might unfold—yours can be a mix of both, or something completely your own.

Accessible Barcelona: Culture & Architecture

What we’ll do

Discover Barcelona at your own pace on a fully wheelchair-accessible and customizable city walk. Every experience is flexible—whether you’d like more time for tapas, extra photo stops, or a shorter route, we’ll adjust the outing to match your needs.

A popular meeting point is the Maritime Museum, a convenient landmark near the cruise port and well connected to the city. It has accessible bathrooms and a water bottle filling station, making it an ideal place to begin. If you prefer, we can also meet you at your hotel, residence, or another location that works best.

Here’s an example route starting from the Maritime Museum (though we’ll adapt everything to your pace and interests):

  • Rambla de Catalunya – a lively promenade with cafés, shops, and plenty of local energy

  • La Boqueria Market – enjoy authentic tapas and a drink in a step-free setting

  • Plaça Catalunya – Barcelona’s central hub with wide, accessible spaces

  • Passeig de Gràcia – an elegant avenue filled with architecture and boutique shops

  • Gaudí’s Casa Batlló & La Pedrera – two of Barcelona’s most iconic modernist buildings

This experience blends food, culture, and history, all designed with accessibility in mind. Above all, it’s your day, your pace, your way.

Accessible Barcelona: Tapas, Markets & Local Flavors

If food is your passion, the experience can focus on Barcelona’s culinary traditions. Starting again at the Maritime Museum, we’ll make our way through the heart of the city, with plenty of time to taste and sip along the way.

Highlights could include:

  • La Boqueria Market – a feast for the senses with colorful produce, local delicacies, and authentic tapas

  • Step-free tapas restaurants – welcoming spots where locals gather for small plates and conversation

  • Option to enjoy Spanish wine or vermouth – or choose a refreshing non-alcoholic drink alongside your tapas

  • El Corte Inglés café – accessible and panoramic, the perfect place to enjoy coffee, wine, and views of the city

  • Passeig de Gràcia – combine food with culture as we admire Gaudí’s Casa Batlló & La Pedrera nearby

This version of the experience places the spotlight on markets, flavors, and panoramic dining, while still moving at a relaxed, accessible pace.
